Appointment Update
The midwife says: "not much longer! I really don't see you going much more than another week!"
The girl in the waiting room (who is due next week) says: "wow you're the first person I've seen whose belly is bigger than mine!"
The check-out person says "why do you have so many more appointments scheduled? Do they really think you're going to need all these?"
Mama says "If you tell me I'm still going to be pregnant a week from now, I'll cry."

We made it through the full moon...
...with nary a twinge. Mama is feeling a little heavy and run down, and still a little sick, but we're almost 36 weeks into this construction project, and we promise we're coming out soon.

uh-oh, Mama's sick!
We'd best stay put for awhile so she has time to feel better before we come out. We pretended we wanted to come out for awhile yesterday, but then changed our minds when Mama climbed in the bathtub. Besides, we were getting tired of all those contractions too--they made us feel "cramped."

Mama's OB appt
Mama had an OB appt. today, and the doctor says we are doing great! Mama's weight is good and her belly is large and in charge. They scheduled her for two more appointments and said they'll start talking about induction after Mama hits 37 weeks.
We've been in the works for 35 weeks now!

Coming soon...
The perinatologist tells Mama that she could go into labor at any time!
As much as we're enjoying kicking her ribs and playing with her food, we're actually starting to feel kinda cramped in here. Mama is going to have to become an expert swaddler to keep us feeling right at home in the early days!
Together we weigh almost 11 lbs, and we're practicing breathing--we get better at it every day! If you laid us end to end, we'd be over 36 inches long--almost as long as a tape measure around Mama's belly--but not quite, she's still got a few inches on us!
We're looking forward to making our grand entrance soon!
